Plus the Tower28 launch we're loving and much more.
Hey lovely,
Jasmine here, Editor of Daily Rituals!
You may have noticed your inbox was lacking your weekly Wellness Dose hit last week - I decided I was well overdue a weekend off, so thanks for bearing with me.
Quick note: I've recently opened my diary for a couple of consulting slots per month for wellness brands looking for expert insight. Whether you need help with messaging, socials, emails (ofc!) or market positioning from someone who actually understands what works in this space, I'm your girl.
Or, if you've got a hot new wellness product or service that's worth shouting about, hit reply and we can chat about working together. PS, if you're peddling detox teas, v@gina scented candles, or anything remotely BS, it's a hard pass - the Wellness Dose girlies know better.
For those of you who have been here a minute, as always I’m so grateful to have you here! Enjoy xo

Your wellness world tour
Pillow faces are officially out, mushroom meat is in
Most conferences are dull af. But in the wellness world, the big three all take place in Q1 (look at us being so business official today). Since you've got busy lives to lead, I've been a fly on the wall (often virtually) to see what's about to flood your Instagram feed, local Sephora, and supermarket aisles.
Today, we're going global – from Paris for IMCAS to Vegas for CES, ending in California for the Natural Products Expo. So, consider this your insiders intel, all without spending a penny on tickets, or enduring a single presentation that inevitably includes "AI" and "personalisation" for approximately every third word.

★ #1 Beauty's getting smarter at IMCAS Paris
Twenty thousand of the world's fanciest dermatologists gathered in Paris to decide your face's fate back in January. The verdict? Overfilled is over. 2025 is about a "softer" look, sometimes referred to as an "authentic" appearance by attendees – e.g., you still look like you. Who'd have thought it?
Bryan Johnson and his quest for longevity made its way into IMCAS this year too. Derms & surgeons agreed it helps to go beyond the surface and support skin to become "biologically younger" at a cellular level. Most agreed it was harder to end up with an overdone look this way too, as though they all still see their 2012 work in their nightmares..
Popular treatments included Sculptra (that encourages your body's natural collagen production) and TikTok's favourite, polynucleotides (typically fish DNA injections). Even Unilever wants in on the regenerative movement with their debut Dermalogica PRO exo Booster with bacterial exosomes. Unlike stem-cell derived exosomes typically used in clinics today, these are said to be more stable (and arguably, more ethical too since they're made in a lab).
The standout innovation? Galderma's Relfydess™ (we've no idea how to pronounce that either) – a new botox shown in trials to work by Day 1 and last up to a year. Annual Botox could actually become a thing if it gets through FDA and EU approvals.
★ #2 Health tech worth knowing about at CES
Now for a trip across the ocean to Sin City. CES in Vegas is where every tech startup dreams of making headlines & bringing home shiny innovation awards. And despite it covering everything from tipsy-looking robo-women to flying cars, health tech stole the show.
Female hormones finally had a moment thanks to Eli Health. Their "Hormometer" can give you cortisol and progesterone readings at home with just a bit of saliva, all in 20 minutes. Imagine heading into your next doc's appointment armed with that info?! Revolutionary.
Sleep tech was (predictably) everywhere. Standouts included Tone Buds that automatically shut off when you've drifted off and subtly fire back up to guide you into deeper sleep states throughout the night. For the wearable-averse, the iSleePad (very creatively named...) tracks all the metrics you'd expect, all through a small pad placed under your shoulders. It's giving grown-up blankie energy.
For the health conscious and filthy rich amongst us, Ultrahuman debuted their new 18-carat gold "Rare" ring. Retailing at over £1.5k and only available in-store at Selfridges in the UK, it's the most luxurious smart ring to hit the market. It's bougie, but an arguably smart move since it makes for the perfect wedding band for the wellness guys and gals.
★ #3 Your future pantry from Natural Products Expo West

🍉 A masterclass in beauty marketing: And a blurring blush we immediately bought once it hit Revolve last week. Oily and sensitive-skin girlies, this one’s for you. Tower28 just dropped their new GetSet blush, their ultra-pigmented self-setting matte blush in 6 summer drink inspired hues. Our favourite part? Their launch sketch series, “The Blush Lives of Sensitive Girls”, had us hooked from the first mini ep.
🌶️ Getting hot in here: Sporty & Rich founder Emily Oberg just launched sexual wellness brand Sensual Sport. In true S&R style, it brings luxury & "coolness" (her words) to the bedroom. With watermelon mouth sprays and a pH-balanced pleasure gel packaged like an expensive moisturiser, the brand would fit in perfectly on Sephora's shelves. Genius really - what other s£x brand would you willingly post on your stories?
😴 Oscar-approved snoozing: The red light therapy device that landed in the Oscars goodie bags this year claims to help you drift off with a 28-minute sunset-mimicking light cycle. At $139, it's affordable for celeb-endorsed wellness tech, but if you're using a blackout sleep mask (or can catch a real life sunset, ideally!), skip this one.
💇♀️ Recession brunette? TikToker’s think they can predict economic downturns by tracking blondes returning to brunette. Our hot take? While saving money is an influence, it's more likely another sign of the soft natural aesthetic dominating 2025 (see above!).
🥬 Billion-dollar lettuce: Just Salad (basically a cheaper Sweetgreen, or The Salad Project for the UK girlies) just raised $200 million, valuing them at $1 billion. Despite being predominantly NYC-based with only 100 stores, it turns out there's serious money (& margin) to be made in fresh chopped veggies.
👀 Neighbourhood spotter: This is how we're really finding out where all the cute cafés are in a new city. Thank us later.
✨ Better than glass skin: The days are getting longer, and that can only mean one thing - it’s officially glow-up season. The real work though, is what’s going on beneath the surface. Here’s some hot tips to work on your inner glow.
👏 We love to see it: France just passed one of the "world's most ambitious laws" by banning forever chemicals (named because they literally never break down) from next year in cosmetics, clothing & ski waxes. Somehow non-stick cookware escaped the ban, but regardless of where you live, we'd suggest switching to stainless steel asap.

How to say “I told you so” without saying it
★ A life lesson for the corporate girlies from My First Million
So you made a brilliant point early in a project, but the team (shocker, mostly men) weren't convinced.
Cut to the end of the project when it turns out they should have listened to you all along.
How to say it professionally? Simply drop: "This was identified as a likely outcome at an early stage."
You don't need to add (BY ME!!!), but you'll watch the penny drop, get that sweet satisfaction of being right, all while maintaining your ultra-professional composure. File this under: I can’t wait to be their boss.
