☆ Your brain stimulating appointment, new retreats on our radar, a hot girl hack

Plus a deodorant cute enough to leave out on display, the new Westfield wellness zone, and did you know this about grip strength?

Hey lovely,

Jasmine here, Editor of Daily Rituals!

If your Monday has come at you hard, I invite you to take a minute and enjoy a well-deserved brain massage or this surprisingly inspiring pep talk.

This week, I'm mixing things up a little after listening to a podcast that reminded me it's good to test new things. Let me know what you think. I may switch to this format every other week, or maybe it'll never be seen again - who knows!

For those of you who have been here a minute, as always I’m so grateful to have you here. And a huge thank you to Megan, Amanda, Sarah & Georgia who all hit referral milestones this week, you’re goodies are en route to you.

Enjoy xo

  • 🫧 The hydrogen hype: Biohacker brand H2 just landed in the UK with effervescent-like tablets delivering 12ppm of hydrogen (aka, a lot more than your average tap water) per tablet. Claims include reduced oxidative stress, less inflammation and better mood, though studies proving their effectiveness are still playing catch-up. FYI, we're currently testing the boujee Echo Hydrogen Flask that adds extra H2 on-the-go (so far, so good although it still feels weird charging a water bottle, but needs must). Though, if you want to test hydrogen-enriched water before investing in a bottle, H2 tablets could be a good place to start.

  • 👜 It's all status: Living forever (and looking immortal while doing it) is the new Birkin bag (in fact, apparently Mulberry's OG Bayswater is the new Birkin, just FYI..). Stella McCartney launched vegan supplements, Dior casually dropped a £2,200 skin program with "longevity molecules" from ultra-fancy French vineyard grapes, and Prada's "smart" skincare supposedly adapts to your skin's changing hydration needs. What's next, designer oxygen? Longevity Fashion Week? Expect to see fashion and longevity continue to collide as brands seek to get their slice of the tasty $6 trillion wellness pie

  • 🛍️ Westfield goes wellness girly: Right on cue, Westfield White City just announced a dedicated wellness zone coming to its upper luxury brands floor this year, set to include a doctor-led wellness clinic, StretchLAB, and a private pharmacy. Their recent report showed that 70% of shoppers want more from their shopping experience than, um, more stuff. Much like how gyms are seeking to become our third home (the second being the workplace, sigh), shopping centres are following suit to provide everything we could need under one roof to tease more of us homebirds out into the wild. Blood tests & oxygen boosts between Sephora and Space NK, anyone?

  • 🧖‍♀️ Retreat yourself: Searches for "Thailand wellness retreat" are up 200% since White Lotus season 3 aired. Even "wellness retreat London" searches jumped 80%. When the world feels entirely chaotic at times, we'll all pay good money to escape it, apparently. We're personally keeping our eyes peeled on this new countryside retreat opening just over an hour outside of London this spring. Or, for those who don't fancy a train ride, The Mandrake Hotel just announced their "Retreat Weekend" to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit (starting at £1,185..) to celebrate their new in-house spa DAMU. With a mix of ancient rituals, a heavy dose of spirituality and plenty of modern wellness tech (like their world-first Origin Pool that "attempts to recreate the feeling of being in the womb" - yes, really), it's peak woo woo but will no doubt flood our Instagram feeds in no time.

Does your grip strength tell you anything about how well you're ageing? 🖐️

  • ❤️ Health tech doing cool things: An Aussie man lived for a 100 days with the world's first artificial heart before his transplant, and it looks straight out of sci-fi (exhibit A).

  • 💊 NHS shake up: Not in a fun Taylor Swift way - 9k jobs just got axed at NHS England (the management layer of the NHS) in a bid to make things less costly and provide better patient care. Though not everyone’s convinced it’s the fix the system needs.

  • 🧠 A 30-minute brain boost: Face, skin, hair, nails and now we can actually book appointments to give our brain a stimulating boost with the new EXOMIND device. It promises to strengthen mental resilience & improve emotional wellbeing in 30-minute sessions, and Serena Williams is a fan.

  • 💄 LV launching lipstick: Admittedly, we’re excited about this one as Pat McGrath is the brains behind it. This autumn, the brand is set to release 55 lipsticks, 10 tinted balms and 8 eyeshadow palettes, to be precise.

  • 😴 Estée Lauder doubles down on sleep: Beauty sleep just got serious as the brand has hired Dr. Matthew Walker (the author behind Why We Sleep) as their first Global Sleep Advisor. They teased that we could expect to see supplements, apps and other sleep-supporting treatments to complement their bestselling creams coming soon.

  • 🌶️ Hot honey takeover: It’s everywhere, and this protein-packed beef bowl variation is on our list this week.

  • ✈️ Vacay ready: Summer Friday’s just extended their bestselling Jet Lag range with their new sleepy girl-approved eye patches. Infused with glycerin, hyaluronic acid, cucumber extract, caffeine and niacinamide, with 6 pairs for just £25, they might have just become our new carry-on essential.

Go big this week girl

A lesson from Dr Margie Warrell (bestselling author on human potential)

Staying in your comfort zone keeps you small. What have you been playing small recently? Can you change that this week?

  • Get inspired: Write a journal entry to yourself this week as though it’s December 31st 2025 and you’re reflecting on the year. Write about what you’re so proud of achieving, your income, your friendships, your health. Get specific.

  • Make a plan: Now you’ve felt what it’s like to achieve it, it’s time to make it happen. Try implementing the 12-week year method, or using TikTok’s favourite planner.

Your deodorant just got a glow up

The temperatures are slowly but surely rising, but for those of us trying to find a natural deodorant (specifically, to avoid hormone-disrupting synthetic aluminum), hot girl summer brings with it peak smelly girl summer.

Luckily, the deodorant aisle just got a major glow up with new brand Rollr. With it’s dark glass bottle and their signature gemstone Rollr's - this could be the first deodorant you'll actually want to have on display.

Their zero-waste refills look more like electrolyte sachets, and once you've bought your bottle, you simply top up every few months. Pick your scent, add water, give it a shake, and you've got your very own Breaking Bad chemistry experiment moment right from your bathroom.

Our favourite part? Three all-natural sophisticated scents free from synthetic aluminum and packed with pro and prebiotics to balance bacteria-causing unwanted odour. For the natural deodorant skeptics who've been burned before (sometimes literally), this one's worth a try.

QUIZ ANSWER: Grip strength = longevity. Studies have shown that a good grip strength has a strong link with our longevity - it's essentially an indicator of our overall strength as we age. And whilst you're likely working your grip during regular strength training, Dr. Huberman suggests it might be worth adding some dedicated exercises (think Hyrox style farmer's carries or even hanging from a pull-up bar). Plus, being able to be a strong independent woman and open stubborn jars of pickles without help is a nice bonus.
