Hey lovely,
Jasmine here, Editor of Daily Rituals, back with your Wellness Dose.
Excited to let you know that our invite-only Girls Group Chat Whats App is coming this week. I’ll be sharing more BTS there, plus it’s the place to swap product reccs, ask for girl-to-girl advice and even get first dibs to sample products from brands. As a small thank you to the community, I’m also giving away a NuFace Trinity (worth over £350) to one of the first 100 who join us. Want in? Just refer 3 friends to The Wellness Dose using your referral link below by Wednesday and you’ll be sent your invite.
As always, thank you for being here. I'm so grateful for you.

The best stories & updates that caught our eye this week →
💄 Big beauty moves: When L'Oréal isn't acquiring everyone (Medik8, ColourWow to name a few), Ulta just bought UK darling SpaceNK. You might not put them together on paper, but it makes perfect sense - Ulta wants global expansion, and even Sephora had to buy FeelUnique to crack the UK after previous launch failures. The numbers back it up too: SpaceNK has the highest footfall outside Boots and Superdrug (clearly, we love their curated approach!), and with £32.4 billion spent on beauty last year, the UK is not a market to do in halves.
🍬 Chew on this: How do you take a “boring” category and make it relevant again? Enter Neuro, creating a new category of "functional gum" that promises breath freshness with added vitamins & natural caffeine for energy and focus. Whilst we love a multitasker, paying 10x more for it? We’re not convinced. If you’re looking for something without artificial sweeteners (& plastic..), try this instead.
🥗 A lunchtime win: Corporate city girlies, this underrated farm-to-bowl salad spot is worth adding to your weekday lineup if you’re based in Islington or Bishopsgate. With (big!!) bowls from just £7.50, we’re currently loving their seasonal summer bowl with added chicken for a filling protein boost.
🛒 A boujee Corner Shop: This new grocer-café-wine bar combo just off the Strand is more akin to a grown up, slightly more indulgent Whole Foods meets M&S than an actual corner shop. Created by the team behind Soho House, it’s the kind of place your credit card will hate to see you coming - expect to wander around on your lunch break and leave with a spontaneous £22 cold pressed olive oil, a sweet treat from the in-house Baker and fresh (British, of course) flowers, just because. Dangerous stuff.
🧘♀️ Retreat season: When The Self Love Lab and Still Chill team up for a September countryside escape, we listen. Picture this: a 50-acre estate, daily sound baths, yoga, a private chef, hot and cold therapy and really good company - basically everything your burnt-out nervous system will be screaming for post-summer craziness. Go alone & get paired with another solo retreater or team up & opt for a double room with your girlfriends. Can't make September? They're just confirmed their Greek retreat will be returning next summer too in this heavenly villa.
💧 On the launch list: In skincare, Gen Z favourite Drunk Elephant dropped their glass skin serum with 4 types of hyaluronic acid, while skincare guru Caroline Hirons teased her latest hyperpigmentation holy grail for Skin Rocks. Over in haircare, stylist favourite Aveda launched a Miraculous hair oil promising 196% more shine (& they're betting big that it becomes their bestseller), and Fenty's new clarifying shampoo dropped for the oily-haired girls who still want softness. Across the water, Headspace is taking on BetterHelp with $35 online therapy sessions through their US insurance partnerships - a busy week for wellness & beauty!
🌟 Inside out: According to this new study, 77% now prioritise feeling good internally over looking good externally, with sleep and boundary-setting as top habits. It all sounds very evolved of us, until you consider we spent £32 billion on beauty in the UK alone last year (see above..), so we're not exactly abandoning the external pursuit. Most likely? More of us realise that tweaking whats going on the inside tends to reflect on the outside too.

Wimbledon might be over, but the events lineup in London & Manchester is not to be missed this summer. Here's a few that caught our eye →
July
Friday 18th | London: Silence & Sound
Sometimes Friday evening comes around and you want to let loose a little, others you're craving peace and quiet. This &Soul breathwork evening with Jamie Clements and live music from Alex Forster sounds like the perfect middle ground when you can't decide between socializing and decompressing in a dark room.
Sunday 20th | Manchester: King Street Townhouse Retreat
Luxury hotel King Street Townhouse have brought in FORM Manchester for a dreamy mini retreat at their in-house spa. Starting with 60 minutes of yoga followed by nourishing brunch whilst you take in the city views from the terrace. The best part? Upgrade your ticket for just £30 and get 2 hours of spa access with salt caves, thermal experiences and heated loungers. Heavenly stuff.

VIBES
Tuesday 22nd | London: Plodders x Juiced
Inclusive run club Plodders have teamed up with high-protein juice brand Juiced for their next post-work run around Regent's Park. With pacers from 7min/km all the way down to walking pace, it's the perfect "entry" run club for those of us who find most run clubs slightly terrifying. Finally, somewhere for the non-speedy runners.
Wednesday 23rd | London: Beauty Dinners
Granted, not our usual wellness lineup, but Beauty Dinners deserves a mention for their intimate supper clubs for women in beauty. Their next event features Flinty Bane, Founder of SKIN, who raised over £650k in angel funding and is sharing everything she learned. Perfect if you're a beauty founder with burning fundraising questions and want to meet others on the same journey.
Various | London: Padel & Pilates
Padel Social Club's summer favourite is back - 60 minutes of padel followed by 60 minutes of Pilates for the ultimate 2-hour Sunday morning workout. Designed for all levels, it's the perfect way to kick off your Sunday (and keep your Tennis Core aesthetic alive post Wimbledon).
Sunday 26th | London: Move & Meet Yoga Rave
Move & Meet are teaming up with mushroom coffee favorites London Nootropics for high-energy yoga & breathwork at Interlude. DJ Chelsea will be providing the vibes, plus post-class mingling whilst you tuck into bagels and jitter-free coffee. Sunday sorted.
August
Friday 1st | London: Masala Moves
Perfect for the freelance & self-employed girlies - Coffee Culture and Desi Girls community are hosting mid-Friday reformer Pilates & chai at Strong Pilates, Islington. Expect to leave with Ayurvedic skincare goodies, Biomel treats & that smugly satisfied feeling of working whilst everyone else is at work.
Saturday 23rd | London: A Creatives Retreat
Join yoga teacher & popular photographer Rosie Rainbow for the ultimate creatives day retreat. Master your camera and your vinyasa through workshops designed to leave you feeling inspired, skilled up, and with a spring-in-your-step (plus a goodie bag, of course).
