Hey lovely,
Jasmine here, Editor of Daily Rituals, back with your Wellness Dose.
I always find after taking a much-needed week off, my excitement for sitting down to write on Sundays (thankfully) comes flowing right back. Probably TMI, but I'm doing "The Money Challenge" on To Be Magnetic at the moment and it's made me realise how much I equate working hard + constantly grinding = success. I've been putting my responses into ChatGPT and asking it to create journal prompts for me, and a recent prompt was: how could you bring more ease into your day, even whilst growing Daily Rituals?
So over the weekend, I did exactly that. I booked in at Arc for their morning sauna, breathwork & cold plunge class (10/10 - if you're in London, you have to try it), caught up with a friend, went on a longer walk than usual, went for lunch on my own without my headphones (my "creative date" of the week) & didn't rush through my gym session like a crazy person to get back and crack on with the to-do list. It made me realise one key thing - I probably got around the same amount of work done, since I always seem to fill time if I have it.
So busy girls getting ready to skim read this - how can you bring more ease into your day today?
As always, thank you for being here. I'm so grateful for you.

The best stories & updates that caught our eye this week →
🏋️ The end of ClassPass?: NYC boutique gyms have teamed up to launch "Gym Loyalty Month", asking class-goers to ditch third-party apps and pay them directly instead. While ClassPass is great for discovery, the reduced rates studios receive when someone books via the app are killing their margins long-term. Our hot take? The girlies like variety, and whilst many are loyal to one gym or studio, our "extra" classes are intentionally at different places. If boutique gyms want to benefit from that habit, they need to truly band together and offer a multiple-studio monthly pass. Oh, and listen to this episode from the king of gym growth, Alex Hormozi.
🧬 A new era: At-home biomarker company Superpower have announced they're seeking "the next Huberman." Said person doesn't need a big audience (they'll help with that), just the doc credentials & enthusiasm to frequently tell everyone how great their platform is.. It's been coined the Doctor x Founder archetype - banking on our trust issues with traditional healthcare & the widespread TikTok misinformation. The concern? All health advice becomes thinly veiled product placement. In an ideal world the social platforms themselves would create a "health-fluencer" fund to keep things impartial & credible. We're not holding our breath.
👀 On that note: Thinking of launching (another) longevity clinic? You need to read this first.
🔮 The trend to watch: You’ve heard of blow dry bars, nail bars, even smoothie bars - but what about a fortune telling bar? As China's economy slows & job competition increases, fortune telling bars are thriving. Think of a space exclusively for readings, astrology-themed drinks plus plenty of incense & good energy in the air. An aesthetic London version would go down a treat, though repeat business might be tricky (who’s getting more than one reading every few months?!). The solution: a membership model with monthly readings, birth chart sessions, human design coaching and group manifestation workshops. Sign us up.
💙 Go blue: This study found that being near blue spaces (oceans, lakes, rivers) lowers our stress even more than green spaces. Somewhat unsurprisingly, people living near water also slept better, moved more and were generally happier. So, whilst we don't recommend skipping your green time, next time you're mixing up your daily walk route, aim to pass by some water & take a moment to take it all in.
🛍️ Get set: Transitional dressing never gets any easier, but we're calling it on next season's go-to pieces. To layer, opt for a chic windbreaker (size up), ballet-inspired shrug or off-shoulder sweat. For a twist on the classic set, a subtle shine-finish legging in this colour is your new go-to, paired with a neutral cool-girl trainer. Navy & burgundy sets always make a resurgence as soon as the temps drop a little, and we've said it once but we're saying it again - contrast is going nowhere.
🤖 The next phase: London's Sava just raised £15m for their implantable health monitors - think Oura but, um, on crack. Their first launch is set to take advantage of the $5.9bn (& growing) Continuous Glucose Monitor market. Unlike others, thanks to their biosensors, it’ll sit just below the skin and admittedly, looks slightly cooler than others available. Our bet? In the next 2-3 years, implantable wellness tech is about to feel much less Black Mirror.

Most of us stopped wearing our busyness like a badge of honour post-Covid, but that doesn't mean we're not often still teetering on the edge. For high-performing, ultra-ambitious women, stepping back, even when we know it will benefit our health, sometimes doesn’t feel like an option (and for that, we probably need to get in touch with our limiting beliefs, but that’s for another time..). This, though, is where Nicole Goode comes in.
She's built a reputation as one of the UK's leading voices on energy and immune health, specialising in helping high-achievers optimise their health without slowing down - since sometimes, that’s just not the phase of life you’re in. As founder of The Goode Health Clinic (named the UK’s Best Functional Medicine Clinic for two years running) and author of bestselling "Optimal You," Nicole works with CEOs and entrepreneurs covering everything from burnout recovery, autoimmune issues, to energy optimisation, and today, you’re basically enjoying a free mini consult with her.
⚬ Nicole, your clients are CEOs and high-achievers. When someone's close to burning out, what's your approach?
There's never a one-size-fits-all protocol. We do a detailed 90-minute health history, then testing based on what we find - maybe adrenal function, gut health, mitochondrial function, or nutrient status. Then we build personalised protocols for their specific imbalances.
⚬ What's an underrated hack that makes a big difference for high performers?
People often expect me to say slow down, but my goal is supporting the body so you can perform at your best for longer. Two things: optimising sleep (you’ll achieve more when well-rested), and calming your nervous system by getting in nature. Even 10 minutes outside, getting some sunlight, surrounded by greenery, shifts you from chronic stress into a calmer state.
⚬ For crazy busy weeks with travel and irregular eating - how can someone maintain immunity?
Find your routine non-negotiables that take minimal time. I love ARTAH’s Cellular Defence for immune support and Ancient & Brave MCT oil in morning coffee for quick energy. And even in the craziest weeks, we can spare 10 minutes for some breathwork - it calms your nervous system while supporting digestion too.
⚬ Some people say "I just don't have a great immune system, never have." Your take?
I don't believe this at all. We have immunity, then we have immune resilience. You can always build a more resilient immune system - I've had clients go from catching everything to never picking up household bugs. It's never too late to build resilience.
⚬ Is the key to more energy simply eating well, moving, and getting those blissful 8 hours?
They’re important, but the real key is finding the root cause - which functional medicine excels at. Low energy usually has a reason: gut health, nutrients, hormones, adrenals, mitochondrial function, inflammation. Find out why your energy is impacted and heal that.
⚬ What supplements have you found best support your clients' energy levels?
For impacted adrenals, I love Hifas de Terra Mushrooms like Equilibrium. The Naked Pharmacy Saffrosun Energy is a great general support, especially with Ancient & Brave MCT Oil. For sluggish metabolism, ARTAH Metabolic Fix. And for mental clarity and focus - plenty of water, potentially with clean electrolytes like Oshun.
⚬ With so many supplement options out there, is there anything you do to make it easier for your clients?
I prefer to know that my patients are putting their money into good quality products - that's why I use W-Wellness. After consultations, depending on their needs, I can direct them to the exact products we’ve spoken about in the clinic, create a personalised basket for them, then all they have to do is click checkout. It’s one less thing for them to do, and it also means I know they’re using the best options out there.
