☆ Wellness events to book this month, a new way to browse the web stress-free, Tala's drop

Plus using your love language on yourself, Nike favourites and much more.

This edition is brought to you by Nike.

Hey lovely,

Jasmine here, Editor of Daily Rituals!

First up, happy love week, for all who celebrate. If you feel like you can’t move for Valentine’s themed drops, you’re not alone. I’m not convinced a heart-themed athleisure set is entirely necessary, but I’ll admit I can get behind a cherry-infused candle.

If you’re using this week to level up your self love, here’s a few ideas based on your love language:

  • Words of affirmation: Write out 5 positive affirmations of things you’re proud of yourself for, every day this week.

  • Acts of service: Cook yourself a nourishing meal (this recipe is in my current saves list!).

  • Physical touch: Well, there’s one very obvious option. If that made you blush - spend some 1-on-1 time with your body brush & gua sha.

  • Gifts: Invest in something that’ll bring you daily joy - for me, it’s a greens sachet top up and a really good fiction book.

  • Quality time: Book yourself a solo date - maybe it’s a meditation class you've been eyeing (more on that below) or a peaceful morning walk to a new coffee shop with your favourite podcast playing.

Right, let’s get into it. Grab your coffee, get comfy & as always, thank you for being here.

Enjoy xo

  • 💼 Wellness 9-5: Next time someone questions your mid-meeting Wellness Dose scroll, just flash them the latest McKinsey report. Turns out workplace wellness is now a "non-negotiable investment" for businesses who care about productivity. We're basically out here helping you meet KPIs.

  • ✨ Get your peptide fix: Medik8 just gave their liquid peptides line a glow-up with their new "Advanced MP" launch. Whilst we're usually skeptical of "works in 10 minutes" anti-wrinkle claims, but they've got independent clinical studies to back it up (or best believe it wouldn't be getting any airtime!). Plus, it's Dr Ewoma approved, and when she speaks, we listen.

  • 🥣 Just add milk: Although oats seem to yo-yo between hero and villain status in the wellness industry, we're here to remind you they're a cupboard staple for good reason. Ideally, opt for organic and jazz yours up with a healthy dose of protein and fats (think: chia seeds, nuts). If meal prep isn't your love language, Eleat just dropped their new all-in-one high-protein overnight oats. 20g of protein per serving and all-natural ingredients list? We're listening.

  • 🌐 A new Google? There's plenty of browsers out there, but Opera Air is claiming to be the world's first built with "mindfulness at its core". Think distraction-free surfing and built-in brain boosts (aka binaural beats to match your mood). The verdict's still out on whether it’s a genius innovation or it just became the 2025 wellness buzzword champion.

  • 📱 Hot check: "Menstrual surveillance" is a phrase most women in the US wish they didn't have in their vocab. Post-Roe v Wade, period tracking apps are under the microscope - especially ones sharing data in the cloud. Enter Embody, with their private-by-default approach because, hello, your period data should be yours and yours alone.

  • 🏃‍♀️ New in from TALA: Their new all-black Airform collection just landed and while the website had us doing a double-take as to what actually made it "Airform", Grace's video cleared things up. Bonded seams and a "bum shelf" (their words, not ours) have us positively intrigued.

  • Heating up: CurrentBody just dropped their wellness tech trinity - a PEMF mat, sauna blanket, and compression boots (naturally). We’ll be honest, it's not easy to spot the differences from their competitor, HigherDose, at first glance. Diving into the specs, HigherDose's sauna blanket brings more heat, but CurrentBody's comes with a slightly friendlier price tag and a towel insert. Pick your fighter.

  • 🧬 Are we longevity obsessed? While the anti-aging industry sprints toward $140.94 billion in by 2034, critics are suggesting we've gone too far with our optimisation obsession. The argument? An over-optimised life might be missing out on all the fun in the present moment. And while Bryan Johnson's new documentary sparked the debate, we're not convinced. Even he admits his routine isn't for everyone - it's intentionally extreme. You can still love your Oura Ring, get your red light therapy fix, and live your best life. It's all about balance.

Congratulations, if you're reading this it means you survived the year-long January! Now it's officially time to give your social calendar a wellness glow-up. From Bridget Jones inspired Reformer to Saturday night sound baths, these are the Daily Rituals top London picks right now:

★ February:

Mr. Darcy might not be there, but Bridget Jones inspired reformer pilates? Sign us up. Expect a fun workout with a vibey playlist and plenty of laughs to distract you from that killer burn. Until tomorrow, that is..

Saturday 15th: Plodders Valentines 5k

Get your heart pumping (literally) this valentines with over 150 other Plodders through Regents Park. Single? Taken? Writing your own rom com? Doesn’t matter - you’re in for a major endorphin boost. Dress code: all things red - interpret as you wish.

Slam your laptop shut & treat your nervous system a mid-week breather with Stephanie’s signature Sound Healing class at the gorgeous 1Hotel Mayfair.

Aloha events always sell out, so move quickly on this one. Enjoy a nutrition chat with Hannah, Pilates with Alice and round things off with some breath work. Plus, you’ll head home with your new Intelligent Change Journal that’s worth more than the event ticket! The girl math be math-ing indeed.

Calling all astrology queens - 22.2 is all about reflection, growth, and good juju (a very technical term…). Make the most of this energy with Piotr’s breathwork session at The Mandrake Hotel.

If "making friends as an adult" was an Olympic sport, this would be your training ground. 50+ women, zero pressure, and good coffee. Need we say more?

It's no secret we're big fans of The Self Love Lab and Zehra's sound baths. Add in an uplifting pilates class with Lauren from Sweat & Reflect and a guided journalling session, and best believe we'll be first in line. Early bird tickets already sold out.

If you’re an organised queen who’s already planning for March, here’s some events we’ve already got our eye on.

Still got it: a Nike moment

You know when you rediscover something that's been there all along? That's been me with Nike recently. Sure, they pretty much invented decent sportswear, but their latest drops reminded me they're not just resting on their laurels. After some intensive research (aka shopping, you're welcome), I've narrowed down my top 6 picks for you. Think leggings so smooth they'll make you question every other pair you own & basics you’ll be able to layer all year round.
