Hey lovely,
Jasmine here, Editor of Daily Rituals, back with your Wellness Dose.
Before we get into it, some personal musings!
Supplements: I’ve recently added this omega-3 to my supplement stack as I don’t eat much fatty fish these days, and honestly, I’d avoided omega’s after learning about purity issues a while back. But, this brand uses responsibly sourced ingredients and is independently tested for purity, so I’m excited to report back on any improvements I notice (I’m mainly hoping for calmer, less inflamed skin and more energy across the month!).
Podcasts: I was asked in my DM’s last week about my current go-to podcasts - I enjoyed this episode of Emma Grede on Working Hard or Hardly Working, she’s the definition of unapologetic success - I loved hearing her views on building genuine culture within a company, something most big biz’s would benefit from hearing (spoiler: it’s not free pizzas once a quarter…). This episode of Sam Faiers on Ladies who Launch is also worth a listen if you’re building a brand (she’s scaled Revive Collagen to a £28m business) plus she gives some juicy details about the early TOWIE days. And lastly, I’m a huge fan of My First Million. It’s definitely not aimed at women, but I find that quite interesting in some ways, like we’re in on the guys business chat. The only slight problem is after most episodes I’ll find myself thinking about another business idea that I don’t have time to execute.
Supper club: Also, you may have seen I launched applications for The Becoming Club a few weeks back - a female founder members-only supper club. I'm still working through applications (honestly, I never anticipated there would be so many!), but I'm shamelessly putting it out there that we're looking for a sponsor for our first event next month. If you're at a brand wanting to align with women shaping the future of wellness, hit reply!
As always, thank you for being here. I'm so grateful for you.

The best stories & updates that caught our eye this week →
🍆 Oh Harry: The launch we didn't see coming in 2025 - a Harry Styles vibrator. A dual-sided (rather aesthetic looking, if we say so ourselves) device, with one fan perfectly capturing why it sold out almost immediately: "All my years as a One Direction fan have led me to this moment… I will be purchasing the Harry Styles vibrator." Our initial thoughts? Seemed a little weird having a guy create a pleasure product for women, but thankfully he brought in sex educator Zoe Ligon to perfect the design details. Genius move really, considering his pull over millennials worldwide.
🧘♀️ Hit the mat: Celeb favourite mat pilates trainer Bryony Basse (Deery) has built a multi-million pound empire since launching her online classes back in lockdown (more on that here). Her platform, Pilates by Bryony, features everything from her signature 15-30 minute classes to breathwork with Daily Rituals favourite Jamie Clements. And now, for some unknown reason, her monthly membership is just £21 a month (usually double!) for the first 3 months. Run.
📚 Rethinking longevity: Professor Kerry Burnight's new book introduces us to "joyspan" over "healthspan", aka focusing on years spent actually enjoying life rather than just surviving it healthily. She suggests as we age, we get too comfortable with routines - a point arguably true for many Type A wellness girlies too, even in our 20s and 30s. The antidote? Regularly embracing change, seeking novelty, challenging ourselves, investing in relationships & giving back to community. Makes sense really - your LED panel isn’t much use at age 60 if you hate your life and have little to look forward to.
🥤 Fibre fascination: It’s been a brutal week for the gut-loving soda brand Poppi. After Pepsi acquired them earlier this year, they've just announced they're launching their own competing prebiotic cola this fall, with more prebiotic fibre in it too. They won’t be marketing it as “gut healthy” though, if they learn anything from the $8.9 million class action lawsuit Poppi settled this week for "misleading gut healthy marketing claims." The ruling suggests that there's not enough prebiotic fibre in the drink to actually benefit your gut health. PSA to UK girlies, this is our current favourite gut-friendly drink.
🩸 A forever problem: Not a week goes by without more research being released about forever chemical (PFAS) in our everyday wellness products. We've already learned to avoid most waterproof mascara (cries, with panda eyes), and now we’re on umm, red alert, when it comes to moisture-wicking period products. Worst offenders? Period underwear and reusable pads. Safest bets were brands specifically labeled PFAS-free, organic, or made from silicone like this handy reusable disc.
🔥 About damn time: We've long been fans of the ever-humbling PBB Sculpt classes across London's boutique studios, and now they're cranking up the heat to bring Hot Pilates to KXU Chelsea. Finally filling the gigantic gap in London's (virtually non-existent) hot pilates scene, classes are £29 for a drop-in and guaranteed to have you burning, sweating & extremely grateful for your electrolyte water.
📖 An underrated creativity hack: Reading juicy fiction isn't just evening escapism - studies show diving regularly into novels makes you more empathetic and open to new ideas, in turn boosting creativity. It's especially true when fiction challenges convention (hello, fantasy) and whilst not everything needs to have a benefit, we’ll never complain that our favourite evening-wind down habit is actually helping our day time thinking. Want to read more, for less? You need to try this.
🚴♀️ Peloton's questionable play: The digital fitness giant Peloton announced their Hyrox partnership last week, (boldly) claiming they're "the best way to train for Hyrox." Whilst we’re not sure the pro’s would agree, there’s one slightly awkward issue - you need ski ergs, sleds, and wall balls for proper Hyrox training, not just their treadmills and rowers. With their shares tanking 23% already this year, the move is unsurprising, if a little inauthentic.. If you’re looking for a hybrid training app, this one gets rave reviews.

Imagine being told that your right ovary has packed in, you're "barren" & “maybe you should consider getting a dog?” - that's what happened to Liberty Mills as she started her quest to become pregnant for a second time.
After starting her career as a model, Liberty was ready to travel the world with her job. But at age 30 she was diagnosed with lupus, changing the course of her life entirely. She was told there was no cure, and soon found herself needing a zimmer frame to walk as well as losing most of her hair. Sure, it's not all about looks - unless it’s your main source of income.
Refusing to accept this as her fate, she went deep into functional medicine (think acupuncture, Ayurveda), and eventually reversed her lupus symptoms completely. But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. At 43, she was told she had only a 0.7% chance of conceiving with her own eggs (even with IVF), with a leading clinic telling her it would be unethical to take her money. True to her nature, Liberty took things into her own hands once again. Four months later, she was pregnant naturally, giving birth to her second daughter just before her 45th birthday.
Now a Certified Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach, W-Wellness Expert and author of "360 Fertility," Liberty has built a practice helping clients worldwide achieve what doctors often dismiss as impossible. With a 90% success rate, she's proof that sometimes the best medicine really is taking matters into your own hands, cutting out the junk that seeps into our lives, and slowing down.
⚬ When you conceived naturally at 44 after being told IVF wasn't even an option, why do you think doctors struggle with fertility cases?
Fertility isn't looked at bio-individually until you've had multiple miscarriages or at least 3 unsuccessful IVF rounds - basically until it’s seen as a “challenge”. It's still about changing the outcome rather than finding out why it’s happening.
⚬ With more of us delaying children, what should we be doing in our 20s and 30s to support future fertility?
Test, don't guess. Check your inflammation levels, vitamin and mineral profiles, thyroid function, egg quantity, sperm quality, and both uterine and sperm microbiome now, because it takes time to improve these markers.
This is a good place to start for female fertility testing, and this for male testing. Note that these don’t include a scan, which you may be able to get via your GP or a private fertility clinic.
⚬ Do you find certain lifestyle trends impact fertility positively or negatively?
Most clients come to me having tried everything. The most common issue is they're fed but not nourished. For me, I was “healthy” but wasn’t living optimally to enhance my fertility. So in the months before I conceived, I went all in - I toned down my intense strength workouts & switched to yoga and walking, gave up alcohol, sugar, upped my intake of adaptogens and went to weekly fertility acupuncture sessions. It was a different kind of intense and my sweet tooth cried a little but I reminded myself it was just for three to four months.
⚬ There's always less focus on male fertility. Why do you think that is?
Gender bias that extends into health and fertility. Both partners need testing and education about how their lifestyle affects not just conception, but also the genetic blueprint for their future child. Both parents-in-waiting need to take equal responsibility, which isn’t yet the norm.
⚬ Sleep, stress, and supplements feature heavily in your work. Which do people underestimate most?
Sleep. You simply can't cheat it, yet most people don't honour or protect it properly.
⚬ What are your go-to supplements for sleep and stress?
I start with Night Cap by Ancient and Brave - they do travel sachets which are perfect since I travel every few weeks. Then magnesium - I've used Inessa for years. I'm also a huge fan of Naked Pharmacy's Saffrosun Calm, and they do a kids' version too.
⚬ And for supporting female fertility and hormone balance?
Invest in the free interventions first: quality sleep, stress management, and movement - I always start with lifestyle. Once you've mastered those foundations, then invest in targeted supplementation. I’ve spoken about my go-to’s here and in my book.
⚬ Congratulations on "360 Fertility"! What can readers expect?
My clients literally begged me to write this for others. It combines science with ancient wisdom - supplements, strategies for dealing with loss, optimising intimacy, and managing stress whether you're freezing eggs, doing IVF, or trying naturally. It’s broken down into a 12-week practical programme, and reviewers have said they find it “much easier to read” than other popular fertility books.
⚬ Finally, where can we find you?
At W-Wellness, my website and of course my book.
