☆ An Insiders guide to wellness in Singapore, you don't need to detox, must-read books for your best year yet
Plus our matcha event debrief, a FemTech breakthrough and much more.
Hey lovely,
Jasmine here, Editor of Daily Rituals!
A quick shout out before we get into it to everyone who came to our Matcha Social Club event on Saturday at JENKI - thank you for bringing immaculate energy and being such a dreamy group of women to spend the morning with.
There were a couple of Qs at the event about buying the Daily Rituals tote I brought with me (see here!). They’re not actually available to buy, but good news for UK-girlies, you can get your hands on one for free once you’ve referred 10 people to the Wellness Dose. So, if you haven’t started referring yet, let this be your sign! Head to the bottom of this email for your unique link.
As always, thank you for being here! Enjoy xo

Your Insider’s Guide: Singapore
A MODEL’S WELLNESS FAVOURITES TO ADD TO YOUR LIST
You can tell a lot about a destination from their airport. Most of us, myself included, see getting through airport arrivals as an olympic sport - one to be done as quickly as possible to minimise the pain and maximise “actual” holiday time. But not Changi. Their reformer studio, massage clinics and a casual 131-foot indoor waterfall draped head to toe in greenery couldn’t be further from the anxiety-inducing arrivals we’re used to (cough, Heathrow..).
If it wasn’t obvious already, wellness is booming in Singapore. With plans to become the destination for wellness tourism (and doing a pretty good job at it), we caught up with model, creative and Singapore local Juliana Cunningham to get her DL on the wellness spots worth booking a flight for.

★ For recovery: The Ice Bath Club
Don't let the name fool you - this isn't just another place for an icy dip. Think of it as Singapore's answer to social recovery spaces like Arc or Othership. Alongside the boujee ice baths, there's a huge social sauna (where you'll find us avoiding our next ice dip), a hot bath, and a cute café serving post-plunge açai bowls and seriously good coffee.
★ For a flow: Yoga Movement
With 10 studios scattered across the island and 12 different classes to choose from, whether you're craving a hot & spicy class or a calming slow flow, there's something for everyone. Their Orchard Flagship is the crown jewel - 3 spacious studios, chic interiors, and a café & rooftop for your post-flow debrief. Plus, they're on ClassPass, perfect for a low-commitment holiday romance.
★ For a message: Natureland
Found inside the iconic Marina Bay Sands and dotted across the island - you're never far from some much-needed tension relief at Natureland. While you'll pay about 30% more at their "premium" locations, £70 for a 60-minute deep tissue massage still feels like a steal if you're used to London prices.
★ For a burn: Vaura Pilates
When a studio has outposts in NYC and Sydney, you know they've got something good going on. Their signature Total Reformer classes are open to all levels (with plenty of options to level up or down depending on your ability, or sanity, that day). Their moment of genius? Each studio has full mirrored ceilings so you can easily check your form throughout your class - petition to make this standard, everywhere!
★ For cardio: Get outdoors!
With so many beautiful connected green spaces, there's a reason Singapore has earned their "city in nature" title (and the world's first urban Blue Zone status). Nature lovers, head straight to Juliana's top pick, the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, where you'll find plenty of hiking trails that'll make you forget you're in one of Asia's biggest cities. Prefer your cardio with ocean views? The Saturday Parkrun along East Coast Beach path serves up a high-vibe scenic 5k that’s worth setting your alarm for.

📌 The perfect match: Scroll Pinterest like it's breaking news? Same. This TikTok was the sign we needed to step things up and use them together. Thank us later.
👋 Goodbye forever, England: This Aussie gym just made us question all our life choices. Equipped with the usuals you’d expect plus an altitude room, rooftop pool club, recovery room, Himalayan salt room, places to work, eat, and well - just live? That’s it, we’re moving in.
🧬 New in longevity: Next month sees the launch of Hundred, a new platform promising to help you “reach your GHOAT” (Greatest Health of All Time - cute, we see what they did there). While it's not super clear how it’s any different from US platforms like Function (worth noting too that the Founder is an investor in Function... and the messaging, typeface, and well, erm, everything looks very familiar), we'll save our hot take for post-launch.
🥤 Ditch the detox: Not that you needed the reminder, but you probably don’t need to do a “detox”. Turns out even a 3-day raw veg and cold press cleanse could mess with your oral microbiome thanks to the lack of fibre (interestingly, the gut actually stays relatively stable). If you're still team juice cleanse, at least add some pulp back in for that fibre hit.
🥗 Dinner plans: This healthy crispy chicken goddess salad is living in our head rent-free right now. Add it to your weekly rotation for a (relatively) low-effort, high protein hit that actually tastes good.
🌴 Discrete, subtle, demure: Not words you'd associate with Dubai's latest wellness venture - a £430 million structure called Therme Dubai (or "Islands in the Sky") suspended 100m in the air, complete with botanical gardens and bathing pools. Because why have a regular spa when you could have one floating in the sky?
👏 A breakthrough in FemTech: It takes an average of 8-10 years to get an endometriosis diagnosis (let that sink in). But there might be some hope - a British healthcare company just got the green light for a new imaging agent that could diagnose common forms of endo without surgery. No more endless ultrasounds and MRIs, and fewer women having to undergo intensive laparoscopies? Now we're listening.
👀 A brand to watch: One for the US babes (for now) – new haircare brand Nutrire is all about a skin-first, clinical approach to hair. But unlike most clinical brands that leave something to be desired in the aesthetics department, Nutrire nails it with sleek, bathroom-shelf-worthy packaging. What can we say, there’s just something about a rounded top bottle that makes us weak.
