2025 Wellness Predictions

We’re getting stronger, finding our people & more reasons to stay home

This post marks the first half of my 2025 wellness predictions (we’ll finish the rest next time, so don’t you dare go anywhere). Today, we’re talking training for your forever body, investing in at-home wellness tech (hopefully, without selling a kidney) and the rise of wellness spaces that feel like your home away from home. Grab your matcha and let’s get into it!

★ #1: Training for your 2065 body

Training for a "summer body" in 2025? So last year. This year, strong is the new skinny, & we’re not just talking about aesthetics either (although, sadly, that’s still part of it). With the rise of GLP-1 making it easier to attain a textbook “slim” body, the conversation is now shifting to muscle loss concerns with long term GLP-1 use. Pair that with our added awareness (thanks Huberman, we owe you) that strength training and pushing our VO2 max is key to living a long and glowy life, more of us will shift our training to incorporate strength, endurance and ultimately longevity-focused workouts this year.

The perfect playground to test your capabilities? Hyrox. Search interest shot up by 233% last year, and we can expect much the same this year too.

Ps, I’ve never just felt like running either

Expect to see more studios offering classes that include strength and endurance (likely following the Hyrox format, already offered at places like ThirdSpace & F45). At the boojier end, more wellness clubs will integrate biometric and longevity testing into your membership as standard to show that they're helping you to live longer (and of course, keep charging you for the pleasure).

WATCH OUT FOR: Supplements that promise to do the work for you (cough, Lemme Tone.. Don’t get us started on the comments section where understandably confused users are asking if they can take Lemme Tone, Burn, GLP-1-Daily and Curb together, likely wondering if they’ll combust entirely?!).

★ #2: The home as the clinic

Why leave your house when you can bring the wellness clinic to you? A few years ago, owning a red light device might’ve made you look like a wannabe biohacker, but now? If you don’t have one yet, you definitely know someone who does.

The girl math is simple too: instead of paying £30+ for an add-on to your facial (which probably cost at least £60 and took up precious time you didn’t have), you can buy an at-home device for £300+ instead, and as long as you actually use it and, most importantly, the thing works, it’s a pretty solid investment.

In 2025, expect to add some extra’s into your at-home wellness line up. We’re talking (slightly) more affordable pop-up hyperbaric oxygen chambers, IV’s and new at-home sauna blankets (we’re hoping for one that combines PEMF therapy, infrared, red light, and maybe even a cryo mode for a full home contrast suite, all while watching Netflix).

For skin longevity, the at-home microneedling market is begging for a higher-tech, more user-friendly device. Right now, it feels like an accident waiting to happen. Our prediction? A K-beauty brand will kindly come to the rescue and we’ll see a new “it” device rise to fame.

WATCH OUT FOR: TikTok will tell you otherwise, but some things are better left to the pros to avoid forking out for repairs, at least for now.

★ #3: Your home away from home

2025 is the year our prayers are answered - London is (finally) catching up with LA and New York, as new social wellness spaces are popping up quicker than you can check your sleep score. These aren’t your typical gyms; they’re multifunctional havens where you can work, sweat, recover, eat, and - most importantly - connect with people who care about living well as much as you do.

First up: Six Senses Place, launching this summer. Here’s to hoping membership doesn’t come with a £10k+ price tag like Surrenne, a wellness club that launched last year in Belgravia. Whilst we’re on the topic - something about Surrenne feels a little too luxe (yes, I said it). It seems more like a ultra-pristine luxury spa than a true wellness club. We wouldn’t know for sure (our invite got lost in the post), but we’ve yet to see anyone actually hanging out there

PLANS FOR SIX SENSES LONDON

But, not to worry - social sauna & ice bath clubs are here to save the day. Arc, opening in Canary Wharf later this month, is bringing similar vibes as ultra-popular Othership locations in New York and Toronto. We’re hoping it’s the perfect spot to sweat, detox, meet new people (in a non-culty way - very important), and still be tucked up in bed by 10pm, glowing and feeling great.

WATCH OUT FOR: If it’s all style and no substance, move along. These spaces should be serving your wellness, not just your Instagram feed.

So, there’s our first 3 wellness predictions for 2025. What do you think? Let me know your thoughts by hitting reply to this email!

  • 💨 A new biz idea? Niche fragrance houses are having a moment, with demand growing for small-batch, high-quality, hormone-friendly scents. And since fragrance trends usually follow aesthetics (think: clean girl, dark feminine…), it got us thinking - what’s next? The toxic-free girl. She’s switched her pans to Our Place, filters her water, and best believe she wants a perfume that’s as luxe as it is clean. She’d probably appreciate a spray that also gives her a wellness boost too. We can wear vitamins now, so why not spritz them on and smell good too? If anyone’s making this, call us (just reply to this actually) and we’ll be first in line.

  • 🧘 Your dose of Joe: If your TikTok FYP is anything like ours, it’s full of people raving about the life-changing benefits of committing to daily Joe Dispenza manifestation meditations. Want to try it for yourself? This Spotify playlist is your new go-to.

  • ✨ One less step: Refy’s back at it, blending beauty and innovation in ways we didn’t know we needed. They’ve just launched a 2-in-1 daily cleanser that combines your makeup remover and first cleanse into one product. It starts as a serum, magically transforms into foam (how? who knows? we don’t really care), and works for all skin types thanks to being non-comedogenic.

  • 📚 We should all probably read this: Want to boost your friendships this year? Here’s a hot take on how to supercharge your friendships in surprisingly simple ways.

  • 😳 They did what?! Remember that ultra-high-tech wellness club in New York that promises to create a personalised program (with AI, of course) for you after all sorts of biometric testing? Well, some people have had some slightly questionable experiences, and now we can’t stop thinking about the amount of data they have on their members.

  • 🏠 At-home screening: If you’re over 25 you’ve hopefully been for a cervical screening (aka, a smear test). There aren’t many that say they look forward to that trip to the docs, but more often than not it’s a quick and pain-free experience. Well, in future, you might be able to do it in the comfort of your own home thanks to Teal Health. They just received an extra $10 million in funding to support the launch of their Teal Wand in the US, and get through FDA-approval. The goal? Get more women testing. Although numbers are rising, apparently a third of women in the UK still don’t go for their routine smear. Let this be your sign!

  • 🏞️ Fresh mountain air: Seeking some more adventure this year? Same. AllTrails has just released their top 25 trails to check out in 2025, and they’re breathtaking.

  • 🚀 The coolest collab (maybe ever?): Elf Cosmetics has teamed up with Nobel Peace Prize nominee Amanda Nguyen to head to space! Amanda’s making history as the first Southeast Asian woman to travel to space later this year. The partnership kicked off with an inspiring 3-min episode about her journey so far — worth a watch.
